Zinc dust is extremely heavy. Incorporating our fumed silica anti-settling agent (SEMISIL Series) builds a 3D thixotropic network. This structure holds heavy particles in place during storage but breaks down under shear for easy spray application, preventing “hard-packing” at the bottom of the drum.
